Dust Control Drywall Compound is a revolutionary product that reduces the mess associated with sanding drywall compound. Dust Control Drywall Compound goes on the wall as well or better than other leading drywall compounds, with the added value that when sanding most of the dust falls straight to the floor and doesn't float around in the air. It is an all-purpose compound that can be used to embed tape, fill and finish gypsum panels, bead, trims and fasteners. It can also be used for skim-coating over dry and non-glossy surfaces. - For embedding CGC Sheetrock® Brand Paper Joint Tape, applying drywall filling and finishing coats. Also for covering fasteners, CGC Sheetrock® Brand Corner Bead and Trim. - Reduces airborne sanding dust for faster clean-upideal for remodeling projects. - Less weight, less shrinkage (minimizes coats over corner bead) and easier to apply and sand than conventional weight joint compounds. - Store at room temperature in a dry location. Protect from freezing, extreme heat and exposure to direct sunlight. Do not use if material is discoloured or has an unpleasant odour. - Coverage Joint finishing, 4.5 L finishes approx. 11 m² - Remix contents before use. When taping and finishing joints, thinning with water may improve application. Add clean water in 250 mL (1 cup) increments, remix and trial-apply until preferred consistency is reached. Over-dilution causes abnormal shrinkage, poor bond and other negative effects. Do not mix with any other material.
